A meeting between stakeholders and the management of the Pakistan Super League

Lahore, July 2, 2025: Under the direction of Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) management held sessions on Wednesday at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore with all parties involved in HBL PSL, including representatives from franchises, the title sponsor, media rights partners, and commercial partners.

The PSL administration provided data and analytics on the league’s development over the previous ten years at the meeting. There was also a statistical comparison between the ninth and tenth versions of the league.

The tenth edition of the HBL PSL, sometimes referred to as HBL PSL X, took place between April 11 and May 25 with 34 games spread across four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. The marquee event’s championship match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators was held in front of a sold-out Gaddafi Stadium. The Qalandars won the tournament for the third time in the previous four years.

Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the PCB, stated:

“The Pakistan Super League has become a leading cricket brand as well as a representation of tenacity, optimism, and togetherness throughout difficult moments.

The PSL has remained committed to providing high-quality cricket and memorable experiences for millions of fans worldwide, from overcoming challenging situations to hosting foreign celebrities on our home turf. Our people are the rightful owners of this journey, which is packed with excitement, drama, and captivating performances.

“I express my sincere appreciation to our franchise owners, HBL—our title sponsor and long-term partner—our players, broadcasters, commercial partners, security agencies, and, of course, our enthusiastic fans. This accomplishment would not have been attainable without their unwavering commitment and trust.

“The PCB remains dedicated to improving and developing the league more as we look to the future. We hope for a tournament that is even more competitive, inclusive, and globally engaging, one that will continue to delight cricket enthusiasts and bring honor to Pakistan.
